About the Couple
Alexis and Anthony live in Florida, but their roots in New England are strong! The pair met at Salem State College as freshmen. They were always in the same friend group and had a crush on each other but it took them years to start dating! When they finally did, they had their first date at the Cheesecake Factory. Later on they ended up moving to Florida. Now they own a beautiful home with three cats and two dogs – plus one outdoor cat who thinks they are its owners.
(Not to mention – Alexis runs her own marketing company and is brilliant at what she does! You have to check out her work!)
Getting Married on the NH Seacoast
So why did Anthony and Alexis choose to get married on the seacoast of New Hampshire? Besides it being a central location for family and friends to attend, Alexis’ grandmother lives there!
Alexis and her grandmother have a very close relationship and it was important to Alexis to celebrate with her. Not to mention, Alexis’ middle name is rose, and well…you’ll see lots of roses surrounding them in the photos below!
Microwedding at Fuller Gardens
These two couldn’t have had a more perfect day for their wedding! It was sunny and beautiful at Fuller Gardens just before golden hour when they held their ceremony. Alexis chose to walk down the aisle with her grandparents to the song Halo by Beyonce (epic). You just have to see Anthony’s face when he saw her!
Their ceremony consisted of family and friends reading their own speeches about the couple – which was so meaningful! They ended with a champagne toast and lots of hugs. After family and friend photos, Alexis, Anthony and I got to explore the grounds and get some photos of the two of them in the many unique areas of the garden.
I am so happy for these two and hope they have an incredible big wedding in Florida next year! I also have to shout out the incredible Fuller Gardens. It was a dream venue and I’d love to be back for another wedding soon!
