We had an absolutely gorgeous fall day for Coraima and Travis! These two had to change plans numerous times due to COVID. But what ended up happening was an incredible celebration they’ll never forget!

About the Couple

Coraima and Travis met, as many couples these days do, online! They were both nervous about meeting each other in person – little did they know they’d kick it off right away!

After years of dating, they started to talk about their future together. On July 4, 2018 they took a trip to Prescott Park Gardens in Portsmouth, New Hampshire, where Travis proposed and they celebrated with family!

Their original plans to celebrate with 200 guests were not looking feasible due to the pandemic. But they knew one thing was so important that it could not change: they wanted to get married in a church. It had been Coraima’s dream to get married at the Abbey Church at Saint Anselm College ever since she’d been a student there!

They decided to move their reception to their backyard, knowing that “no matter where we got married or how our reception was held it would be perfect knowing that we were together with our families.”

Their Wedding Day

Seeing this day come to life was simply magical. We started by capturing their getting ready processes. I loved photographing all the important details, including their invitation from Basic Invite (check out my recent blog post about their products!) and Coraimas’ gorgeous shoes! I then captured the absolute sweetest first look between Coraima and her dad (scroll down and don’t forget the tissues!)

Their ceremony at Saint Anselm was gorgeous, and we had the best weather for formal portraits outside the Abbey. This wedding party was such a blast to work with! When it came to Coraima and Travis’ couple photos, they had already done an engagement session with me and were total naturals in front of the camera. (Click here for tips on preparing for YOUR engagement session!)

Their backyard reception was full of gorgeous details, including a giant armchair, a chandelier and a bar cart that Coraima’s brother (the man of honor) made himself! Plus we got to capture some photos with Coraima and Travis’ big dog, Bear!

From cutting their cupcakes to dancing the night away with all their favorite people, this reception was just brimming with joy and celebration. I am so happy for Coraima and Travis and grateful I was there to witness such an amazing day!
