Jessie and Kyle’s wedding was so beautiful and well-deserved! After COVID put a halt to many of their plans to celebrate, they eventually got to have the wedding of their dreams in Portland, Maine!
We started the day off getting ready at separate houses. I loved shooting Jessie’s elegant details out on the porch and documenting her mom helping her with her dress! After some champagne and photos, we made our way to the church for the ceremony.
While Jessie and Kyle officially were married the year prior during an elopement ceremony, it didn’t make this one any less special. Family and friends gathered to see them tie the knot again and it was their presence that made it real all over again!
After the ceremony we did family photos outside and then traveled to the Eastern Promenade in Portland for wedding party and couple shots. It was a very popular photo destination but we managed to get lots of beautiful images with no stragglers in the background!
Then we made our way over to their reception at Southern Maine Community College. I was simply blown away by this location – right on the water and beautifully designed by Lani Toscano Design. I may have taken WAY too many photos of the tables and floral installation above the bar!
After cocktail hour and toasts we took the opportunity to get some evening portraits by the water with the lighthouse in the background. Jessie and Kyle were so great in front of the camera and it was great working with Nick of Life in Focus Visuals and his team!
Dancing the night away under the tent was made even more gorgeous with illumination by Griffin & Griffin Lighting – a perfect atmosphere! Congratulations, Jessie and Kyle!
