Luis reached out to me and said he and Irene would be traveling to Boston from Costa Rica for a little family vacation – and also so he could propose!
We had a few weeks to plan the perfect fall proposal at the Boston Public Garden. Luis knew he wanted to ask Irene to marry him somewhere picturesque and beautiful in the fall. The garden was the perfect spot!
When they arrived, he guided Irene over to the water, gave me the signal and proposed! Irene was totally shocked and it was so fun capturing her reaction. Their family came to greet them and it was beautiful to see all the love they had for each other.
Then came the fun part – portraits! We took some photos in the garden then ventured out to Beacon Hill and Acorn Street. It was so exciting getting to play tour guide for these two who had traveled so far and were interested to see the sights of the city.
What an amazing day, and lovely to meet my new friends from abroad, who sent me home with some chocolates from Costa Rica! So excited for these two and it was an honor to capture this special moment!
