I could talk forever about Alena and Chris! These two have the perfect chemistry together, are super funny and down to earth, and are getting married this spring at Harrington Farm in Princeton, MA! To celebrate (and get to know each other!) we met for a lovely late spring engagement shoot at Minute Man National Park and the Old North Bridge.

About the Couple

Chris and Alena met via the power of the Internet – aka online dating! After several years together, Chris decided to propose at the end of a week-long cruise to the Caribbean. They got dressed up and treated themselves to a fancy French dinner on the boat! As the boat approached the port and they looked out at the city of Miami, Chris used the moment to reflect on their time together and popped the question! There were happy tears and hugs – followed by Alena telling the news to the first people they saw – strangers on an elevator.

Alena and Chris, being big fans of comedy, love to laugh together. They are also foodies and love to travel and try new restaurants. While not much as changed since getting engaged (besides planning a wedding!) Alena loves to sport her new fancy jewelry and to emphasize the word “FEYONSAAAAY” (this part of their questionnaire made me laugh!)

Engagement Photos in Concord, MA

These two chose Minute Man National Park as the site for their engagement photos because of their love for the vines, brickwork and stairs – not to mention the natural and historic beauty of the Old North Bridge. We truly had the best weather and light for this session! I just loved the colors of their outfits, too. I am excited to see these two again for their big day very soon!
